Professional Profile of Mr. Bulbul Ahmed
Mr. Bulbul Ahmed joined this district as the Chief Judicial Magistrate on 30 November 2025. He is a permanent resident of Ghatail Upazila of Tangail District.
He successfully completed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination with distinction from Bindubasini Government Boys’ High School, Tangail Sadar, and subsequently passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination in the Science Group from Dhaka College, Dhaka.
He appeared in the 4th Bangladesh Judicial Service (BJS) Examination and passed it with distinction. He joined the Bangladesh Judicial Service in 2010.
He obtained his LL.B. (Honours) and LL.M. (First Class) degrees from the University of Rajshahi.
During his judicial career, he served in various capacities as a Judge/Magistrate in Mymensingh, Gazipur, Sirajganj, and Sherpur districts.
Throughout his professional career, he has received training from various institutions within Bangladesh. In addition, he has undergone advanced training in ADR, Mediation, Land Management, and Comparative Law in London, Australia, Singapore, and Delhi. He also received training on Judicial Administration at the National Judicial Academy, Bhopal, India.
On a personal note, he has performed Umrah in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.
